Call for Nominations IABR Rising Star Award 2025

The International Association of Breath Research invites nominations for the Rising Star Award for 2025. This newly established award aims to recognise outstanding early-career researchers who have made a significant contribution to the field of breath research.

The nominee must have a terminal degree of a PhD or MSc (or equivalent) and must have worked at least 3 years in the field of breath research but not more than 8 years of post-degree experience in breath research. The nominee will have demonstrated a clear commitment to this field through their strong publication record and presentation history, as well as their fellowship and grant track record.

Nominations are invited from any member of the IABR. These must include a rationale outlining the nominee’s key contributions and may include items like publications, patents, fellowships, etc. The rationale should be no longer than 1 page (500 words). Self-nominations are accepted.
