The International Association for Breath Research (IABR) is pleased to announce the election of its new Chair-Elect Prof. George B. Hanna. The appointment marks the beginning of a two-year term, which officially commenced on October 1, 2025.

As Chair-Elect, he will play a key leadership role in supporting the current Chair (Dr. Simona Cristescu) and contributing to the strategic direction and governance of the IABR. Over the course of the term, the Chair-Elect will work closely with the Board and membership to advance the association’s mission of promoting excellence in breath research.

The IABR extends its warm congratulations and looks forward to the leadership and insight the Prof. George B. Hanna will bring to the organization in the years ahead.
